When you have already conceived the idea, well then the next step is to dream about it. Dreaming is not a bad idea. When you cannot dream, it means all the future path is blocked. Dream for your venture and think how you would like to see yourself after 5 years from now. So this will be your primary objective i.e. to reach that position in 5 years.

Now work hard for capital. Accumulating capital is also an art. Some people say that if you have an idea, well it can change life. I do also agree with that but to materialize the idea you also need capital. Without capital nothing can happen (whether it is talent or idea). While accumulating capital you must be careful about the outstanding loan you will have and the repayment procedure. Remember one thing in your life that if your banker is "happy" with you then nobody can stop or beat you. It is the banker who will bailout you at your extreme crisis moment. Your risk appetite will increase once you have a smooth relation with your banker.

Now once capital has been accumulated then the next step is to choose the trade. Where would you like to invest or roll out your investment. Choosing trade is also a vital issue. At this point I will not suggest you to go for a fixed investment (like buying shop or factory). Rather getting this establishment by rent is a much more wiser decision. Keep your eggs for further rolling into the business.

Now when you are ready, keep 75% of your fund as reserve and invest 25% of your total capital. START OPERATION.

Integrating APIs into one site is not so complex nature of job. Say for example if you have one site and want to integrate Paypal API or Freshbook API, well is simple one to integrate. There may be another factor works hear and that is how reputed is the API company. Normally APIs from big concern is not creating any problem. This things become complex when APIs are coming from small or unknown company.

This time we have integrate two different APIs from two different company and integrate the same into One site. The site is a "Online Casino project". We have developed one casino site to connect it to the main casino software. The main casino software is VVCasino software. Where players are entering into the site "Chickasaw" gaming site through signup / sign in process and participated into the VVCasino Game software. Please do not misunderstand that we have developed VVCasino game software. We have only integrate the same with Chickasaw gaming site.

The most important part of a casino game software is the integration of payment gateway. We have also faced a lot of hurdle while integrating the same. Firstly we have tried to implement the GPN Payment gateway but was not successful because there were few problems inside the API itself. The error part we have understand quite a long time later. Then we have shifted it from GPN Payment gateway to Chickasaw Payment gateway. Yes then it is successful. Finally we are able to integrate the same.

We have passed almost 3 years in Elance (member since oct 2008) and after that we have decided to join in Guru. Our main success and identification establishment has started form Elance and further it is spreaded to Guru. Well this is up to this. We are not thinking to join further in any open job site.

The membership charges of Guru is little bit higher than elance. But what we have found is that the average budget for a job is higher in elance than guru. I estimate that quality of the project is also better in elance.

Overview, Resume, work Sample & Feedback are the4 tabs to organize your profile in guru. Well it takes time to rearrange and create your profile in guru too. We have taken time to organize ourselves but not yet completed enough. After joining into the guru we have bid for approximately 15 projects till now and got 1 job invitation from the buyer. Result is satisfactory but not up to the mark. Out of the 15 Projects, buyer has revert back to us in 6 projects. Well somehow or rather it didn't mature.

Online Job Market place is one of the best platform who has started his venture and looking for a direction to establish the same. Continuous customer support along with good reputation and credibility can establish you in the online job market. Well we have started a little bit later in the online job market but found very useful to establish for a new entrant. Quick Understanding of the project from a buyer is one of the success key factor along with quick TAT (Turn Around Time). Yes of course writing a proposal is also another art to get projects from online job market. Most people do writes his own credibility and own advertisement in his initial bid document which is not useful. Buyers are interested to know how far you have understand his requirement rather than to know your advertisement. This point is very much essential. When buyer will understand that, well you understand his project then he will search your profile automatically from the concerned Job Market or from Google.

Finishing up a project is also very important as well as to start the same. Our suggestion is to prepare a High Level Document before starting of the project and get approval on the same from buyer. We have completed one CRM project. It is basically made for a financial consulting firm based on Australia. This project consist of a probable customer who will make a phone call to a financial consultant for a loan. The manager who is working will go through then "Serviceability Calculator" Option. This Serviceability Calculator consist of "Income", "Expenses", "Assets", "Liabilities", "Loan Repayment Capacity", "Monthly Serviceability" and finally "Summary" tab.The data is being inserted through this various tab and checking for the customer's ability to pay the loan amount he is asking for.If the customer is eligible for loan then the system is asking for entering "New Customer Data" through user interface. If customer is not eligible for loan then we are storing his data in database for future use. A search option is available to search for a customer who has applied for a loan or who has not qualified for a loan with a date range. There is an excellent user dash board is also available also. There are two types of user. (1) Admin Profile (2) Manager Profile. Admin and manager both have same functionality except two special function which only admin can do. (1) Create User (2) View Reports. All the reports can be visible through system and can download as PDF format too. Blank Loan Application and Filled Up Loan application can also save as PDF document from the system too.

Silicon Software will going to complete another financial year. We have started our journey on 01.01.2002 and it continues. During the last year we have achieved a lot of thing. In fact 2010 - 2011 is a remarkable year for Silicon Software. Apart from the many projects which we have completed this year, the most remarkable one is Loudhailer. And the project is not completed yet. But we expect that we will complete this very soon.

We have taken another major decision this year is to shift our hosting business from www.hostwithsilicon.com to www.siliconwebshop.com. In future we will promote SiliconWebShop as our Hosting shop. We have plan to enhance the shop by adding more products during these days. We will scrap HostWithSilicon.

The year we have opened our Admin & Support category division and launched www.mysilicon.info with new look & feel. We have not concentrate much on this arena and have a plan to concentrate more on this division for the near future.

We have started our tourism product www.makemytour.biz this year. This is a complete Silicon Software product. Expected we will enhance the site by adding more functionality and will be attractive to our visitors. For the time being we have started with only "Tour management".

This year we have make a total business of INR20,00,000. Expecting to enhance more for the coming year. Silicon Software is looking forward towards 2011-12.

We have completed our Pharmacutical ERP Application project this year successfully. The official PharmaOnLine project is shutdown and hence marked as "Closed".

How to success in Web Marketing (Part 1)

This is a tough question. All round the globe people are surfing net and asking how can I earn money through NET. People in my country are not much aware of working in NET. They are still following the old traditional method. Going Office on time. Passing Time. Getting Salary on Time. These are the three major factor while we work.
But this is not all about. It is really very tough market. People are crazy about the quality and as well as prices. So quality and prices are related with each other. So people are expecting money before producing the result. Which is bad. Think about yourself before asking for a job. Are you confident enough to execute the job? Is your job maintains quality? Is that quality is = The prices you are asking for that job? If you will ask by yourself, well you can very well answer all those questions.
A good profile is must for getting the job in web. The best way I have found to make profile is to book a .ME domain in favor of your name. Well if you get that .ME domain against your name then almost 40% job you have done. If you don't get the domain name of .ME then look for .INFO too. It is also effective. If you don't get either of three domain then try to find google blogs domain. As my google blogs domain is www.siliconsoftware.blogspot.com.
If you are not selling any services or not looking for any job in the web but are planning to sell some products through web then go for .COM, .BIZ, .CO.IN, .IN domains. All these domain are effective in google ranking. Google web crawler is also searching for .BIZ domain before .COM domain. As .COM domains are now very less to left for booking so we are looking for another TLDs.

It is very unfortunate that Mr. Sudip Das who is one of the pioneer and founder pillar of Silicon Software is now suffering from Blood Cancer and has admitted in Medical College & Hospital, Calcutta, Bed No - H-18 for last 40 days. Chemotherapy process has started and has added one bottle to him. The cost of this treatment is huge and it is not possible for him to bear that cost alone. So I am requesting everybody to donate something for his treatment. I will post his bank account no very shortly as I am also waiting for the same. Kindly go through his medical report 1 & 2 which I have uploaded here.

There are only two medicine which can save Sudip's life. A. Blood Palate B. Money. I have arranged as much as possible blood palate but more money is required for him.

A new way of Working

There will be two ways to joining as a contractor in Silicon Software

1. You can send a resume. Resume will be checked and you will be called for an interview. If you will be selected you will be our part of the company. You will have freedom to join any of our salary level. Each salary level has its pre-fixed deliverable working hours. You have to deliver that work within that working hours. You will be assigned a grade after each month. Achievement of higher grade for consecutive three months will give you an automatic promotion and a better salary scale and vise versa.

2. You can join with us as a contractor. Where you will be assigned a job and you can do the same at your home. After completion you will be immediately paid and delivery us the deliverables.

Back from Holy Trip

Hi Everybody,

   We came back after travelling around 840 Kms in 4 days. Yes it was really a long drive. First we reached on Tarapith at 2:30 PM on 18.08.2010. Started from Calcutta at 8:00 AM on the same day. Covered 280 Kms. I was really tired on that day and could not make any arrangement for the next day. Yes on 19.08.2010 we had a program at "Maa Tara" temple. But we did it on 19.08.2010. The "Puja" was excellent. We deeply satisfied. We ended up the day with "Royal Challenge". 4 Pegs each.
   We started for "Deoghar" on 20.08.2010 morning at 9:30 AM. It was an amazing experience through out the day. First we made a mistake on route. Second we have blocked by a group of students who has made a "strike" on National Highway. We waited 1hr. 30 mins till the strikes has been called off. Finally we have released from there and started our journey again. We entered into the state of Jharkhand. The road side scene was really amazing. We have reached "Deoghar" at 5:30 PM on the same day. Covered around 180 Kms.
   21.08.2010 is really a memorable day for us. We visited the Mandir" of "Lord Shiva" and pray to GOD. On the very next day 22.08.2010 we have started for our home from Deoghar at 8:00 AM. Covered 380 Kms and reached home safely.
